How much does it cost to
register?
The registration is currently free.
|
How many members do you
have?
At the beginning of 2009, we had over 8000 members
(players, teams, coaches and agents).
|
Who will access my
details?
Only registered members will have access to
your details (except your email address which will remain
confidential) .
|
How does it
work?
Players, teams, agents, coaches register with
Europlayers providing information about themselves.
Once you are
registered, our existing members will be able to view your profile online
and, if they are interested in finding out more about you, will contact
you via your profile page. You will also be able to browse our database
(which includes players, teams, agents and coaches) and contact any of
them.
|
I'm a player, how long does
it take to be contacted by a team?
Usually it takes at
least a few days. As soon as a player registers, his details will be
available online. At this stage, it just depends on the teams if they are
interested in the profile of the player or not.
|
I'm a team, how often should
I check your online database?
You should check our database
regularly. Every day new players register.
|
How long will my details be
available in your database?
We won't delete your details
until you ask us to do so. For example, if you have found a team and you
don't want to be contacted anymore by other teams interested in your
profile.
|
Will I be able to change and
update my details after I have registered?
Yes. Once you
have registered you will be able to change and update your details online
whenever you want.

How does the profile rating
system work?
Because we now have thousands of members, it
has become very difficult for us to manually review all their profiles.
The consequence of this is that there are a number of profiles that are
very incomplete and not useful to members viewing them.
Therefore,
we have implemented a rating system to allow members to highlight to
others incomplete or incorrect profiles.
How does it work? It's
very simple: every time you view a profile, you will be able to rate it
using the feature located at the bottom of the
profile:
-Blank=>Profile does not provide any useful
information. -Incomplete=>Some information provided but some is
missing or incorrect. -Complete=>Profile completed with useful
information.
Profiles with an average rating set to 'Complete' will
be displayed first in the list. This will allow you to better focus on
completed profiles.
Rules: -you are not allowed to rate your own
profile. -you can re-rate a profile; for example, if a member has
changed it since you last viewed it. In this case, only your most recent
rating will be used. -if you abuse the system by, for example, rating
profiles as 'blank' when they are evidently complete, we will prevent you
from rating profiles in the future. -if your profile has been rated as
'blank' or 'incomplete' by other members and if you have updated it
recently, let us know. We will review it manually and reset your
rating.

What is 'My
Notes'?
We know that you like to create comments about
other members, like their phone number, email address, where they
currently live, if you think it's worth keeping in touch with them or not
and so on. So we've added the functionality to allow you to write and
store notes about other members on the website. The notes are private.
Nobody apart from yourself can see the notes that you have entered. To
create a note, click on 'Add Note' on the members' profile page. To see
all the notes that you have entered, click on 'My Notes' on the left menu
of the Member Zone.

What are the
reviews?
Do you know an agent who particularly helped you
to find a new team in Europe or a team who organised everything well: from
buying your air-tickets to finding an accommodation near their club? Or
maybe the complete opposite happened to you: the team didn't organise
anything and you were left to find your own accommodation and you didn't
speak a word of the language! And what about the player that wasn't as
good as his profile indicated and who didn't even turn up at the
matches?
Wouldn't you like to tell other members about them? We
think you should! That's why we've added the functionality to allow you to
write reviews about other members on the website.
There are three
types of review: positive, neutral and negative.
Rules: -all the
reviews will be validated by Europlayers before being published. -if
you abuse the system by giving a negative review to someone you don't
know, you will be prevented from giving reviews in the future and you will
be given a negative review by Europlayers. -a review should be
informative; it should contain enough details to explain why you're giving
it otherwise it will not be published.
To add a review on a member,
click on 'Reviews' at the top of the members' profile page.
