League play resumes in Europe after the European Championships.

Several countries resume their leagues this week following the break for the European championships.

The 24th Shamrock Bowl for the Irish Championship is scheduled for this Saturday August 7 as last year's finalists, the University of Limerick Vikings and the Dublin Rebels square off. The Vikings are the defending champions but the Rebels enter the game undefeated in 2010.

The German League resumes Saturday August 7 with a match-up of the 2009 German Bowl finalists, the Berlin Adler and the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes. German and Eurobowl title holders Berlin leads the Northern Division with Kiel in second.

Friday night football is back on the internet in Finland with the Turku Trojans facing off against the Jyväskylän Jaguars Friday August 6.

Sweden also features a Friday night game with defending Swedish champions the Stockholm Mean Machine playing the rejuvenated Tyreso Royal Crowns. Stockholm is second in the the Swedish Super Series while Tyreso is third.

In Denmark, the league leading Triangle Razorbacks face the AaB 89'ers on Saturday August 7.

The Hungarian League gets back to play Tuesday August 3 with a game between the Budapest Wolves and the Budapest Titans.
