Crocodiles and Butchers in Finnish Championship!

The Finnish Maple League semifinals started Saturday with the Seinajoki Crocodiles defeating the Helsinki Roosters 42-28 in a game between two equally matched teams. The two teams had split the season series going in to this game.

The Porvoon Butchers return to the championship game after beating the Helsinki Wolversines 41-27. The Butchers took a 27-0 halftime lead and cruised to the victory, holding off Helsinki who scored 27 second half points, the final touchdown on the last play of the game.
