Stockholm Mean Machines sign Hawkins as their quarterback for 2011!

The Stockholm Mean Machines of Sweden have announced the signing of quarterback Cody Hawkins (6’, 195 lb) of the University of Colorado.

A four-year starter, Hawkins became the all-time leader in touchdown passes, touchdowns accounted for, passing yards, completions and attempts in school history. For his career he threw for 7,409 yards and 60 TDs. Colorado, in the Big 12, played regularly against the top teams in the United States including Alabama, Texas, Nebraska, Florida State and many others. He was a 2nd team Academic All Big 12 in 2010 and was the 2010 Recipient of the Colorado Career Achievement Award for Total Contribution to the Athletic Program throughout a career. In 2009 he entered and won the 2009 Elite 11 Quarterback Camp Accuracy Challenge over NFL QB's Mark Sanchez, Colt McCoy, and Chase Daniel.
