The Hamburg Blue Devils (GFL - German top division) have signed running back Tory Cooper.
Tory Cooper (5’8”, 190 lb), one of the top running backs in Europe, has signed with the Hamburg Blue Devils in Germany who just advanced to the top division (GFL).
Cooper helped the Berlin Adler reach the Eurobowl championship game in 2011 after an outstanding season. In his 18 games including regular season and Eurobowl he rushed for 1,336 yards and 15 touchdowns averaging six yards a carry. He also had 470 yards in pass receiving and another four touchdowns.
In 2010, he was a key in helping the Swarco Raiders reach the Austrian Bowl leading the team with 160 1138 Yards rushing and 10 touchdowns adding another 317 yards receiving and four touchdowns.
A graduate of The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina (NCAA Div. I AA), (Southern Conference), Tory enjoyed an excellent career. He led the Southern Conference in all-purpose yards in 2006, and in 2007 he broke The Citadel's All-Time single season rushing TD record with 19.
